About Triad Development
Don Collier has been
building quality homes for families since 1973.
Growing up in a construction family
environment, Don worked weekends and after school with his father to learn
the basics of good quality construction techniques. Early on in Don’s life he knew the construction industry
would be his career choice, envisioning the communities that he would
someday design and build. Today Don
has built
and sold thousands of homes but still understands the value you
expect and he
demands in every
home with the Triad name.
Don decided in 1973 to join
his father “Don Sr.” and start building homes one by one with $4,000 and an
old pick up truck.
Over the next 20 plus years the Collier family developed
a number of communities
such as Park Charles, Spring Valley,
McClay Forest,
Woodstone, Woodstone Forest,
Shirewood Park, Bradford Place, and Chateau
Country Club
which represent several hundred homes.
In the early 1990’s Don decided to launch his own organization and created Triad Development. In addition to being a leader in the new home communities, Triad has become the leader in the area for creating and developing several commercial retail centers, office building complexes, and self storage facilities. It is this diversity that has provided a solid base of success for our company and employees as fluctuations in our economy and industry are always prevalent. Some of the commercial projects Triad has developed are Triad West, Canyon Ridge, Triad Crossing, Parkway Plaza, and The Promenade to name a few. The residential projects Don developed on his own started with Linnemann Forest Townhomes and Canyon Creek. Moving forward to now, currently we are offering seven different communities, Stone Ridge Canyon, The Villas and Townhomes at Stone Ridge, Anna Meadows, Jaxson Estates, Majestic Lakes, Layla Meadows and The Hamptons. Today, Don has highly
motivated and the very brightest craftsmen, project managers, sales
associates,
and support staff,
which are committed to the satisfaction and
quality of every new home completed.
Don as President of Triad Development
is a hands on leader, often making regular visits to the job
sites to ensure
the Triad quality that is expected. There are no
middle men in the Triad Development
process driving up the price, at Triad we research for the right
location, negotiate our
land purchase,
hand pick the engineers for the
project, carry the proposed development through the city approval
process
then negotiate, hire, and monitor each step of the development. This
development process
results in better pricing of our
lots and homes creating
superior quality at each step of the way.
and is overseeing the building process, for both residential and commercial. The Colliers are continuing the family
